Students from Greenfield College took part in the Sedgefield School Sports Partnership County qualifying event for Table Tennis recently and finished in first place! They will now represent Sedgefield in the County Finals in the New Year. Well done and good luck in the County finals to: Emma, Sinead, Caitlin, & Anna.
Greenfield College work in partnership with Bishop Auckland Table Tennis Club to develop the game offer for their students and members of the local community at Greenfield’s sports facility. Matthew Porter (Head Coach & County Durham Coach of the Year 2013), runs sessions at Greenfield every Monday evening from 3.30 to 7.30pm.
Greenfield students train every Monday 3.30 to 4.30 free of charge, followed by a Community session 4.30 to 5.30 (Cost £2) for all ages and abilities.
A number of Greenfield students have progressed to District and County training which takes place at Greenfield from 5.30 to 7.30pm and at Bishop Auckland every Friday. For more information contact Lee Boynton (Greenfield Sport Manager) on 0787 9117224.
