The ASA North East Region Youth & Senior Championships. were held on Saturday 4th May & Sunday 5th May at Sunderland Aquatic Centre
Sedgefield 75 Swimming Club were represented at the NER Swimming Championships by Philip Walker and Kye Cowton. Kye competed in the 50,100 & 200 metres Breaststroke events putting in superb swims but did not make the finals. This was his first competition at Senior level.
Philip swam in six events winning gold medals in the 100 and 50 metres Backstroke. He took bronze medals in the 50 Butterfly and the 50 metres Breaststroke. A truly outstanding performance by one of the Senior A Squad members.
Hannah Featherstone has been selected to represent the ESSA North Eastern Region at the National Swimming Championships to be held later in the year.
