Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club was blessed with excellent weather on Friday 20th September when it held its annual charity golf event at Woodham Golf and Country Club.
A hundred golfers took part in this annual event which organisers say will have raised in the region of £5000 to be divided between Cancer Research for Cervical Cancer, Macmillan Cancer Support and Rotary Charities.
The event was won by Hewitts Plumbing Heating and Electrical and three of the team are pictured above being presented with the Rotary David Thompson Memorial Trophy from President Jean Thompson (right) supported by joint organiser Rotarian David Hogg (left).
