We are bursting at the seams with FREE activities for the WHOLE FAMILY this Summer holiday. We have a variety of ‘Crazy Craft’ sessions both in NEWTON AYCLIFFE and SHILDON. Come and get crafty with our artists and see how you can create something fabulous with simple everyday objects.
Also on offer is our ‘Star of the Show’ workshop, giving you the chance to direct your own film or even be the star! Work with film maker and writer Laura Degnan to recreate scenes from a well-known film with your own acting and creative direction, taking on a role as a real crew member. This was so successful last holiday that we are also previewing the final product from both sessions to create a cinematic event of wonder and discovery.
Story Makers is back by popular demand with two workshops on offer. Come and create your own mechanimal puppet with Richard Agar using all sorts of tools and household objects. Anne Curtis will also be here to help you create your own digital story on our new app, designed for all ages to help you build your own stories. The online creatures can take on their own identity and personality by choosing from a wide variety of quality graphics and imaginative dialogue.
