Mrs Lynda Cumming, a well-loved stalwart of Sugar Hill Primary School since 1997, retired at the end of laast term. For the last six and a half years of her career, she was a dedicated and pioneering headmistress, leading the staff and pupils at Sugar Hill with great distinction.
With the support of her team, Mrs Cumming worked tirelessly to improve the school and the achievements of its pupils. Everybody at Sugar Hill wishes her a long and fulfilling retirement, and extend their gratitude for all the great work she did for Sugar Hill school and its pupils over many years.
Sugar Hill school re-opened this week for the autumn term with Mrs Cumming’s successor, Mrs Paula O’Rourke, taking up the position of headteacher.
