Earlier this month, Sugar Hill primary school opened its first Book Store. The school purchased books in bulk and passed the savings onto the pupils. Book prices were as low as £1 and parents and children stocked up their book shelves with these bargains. Many thanks to the four brilliant shop assistants, Millie, Erin, Lily and Casey, for giving up their time after school to support the new venture.
Last week, Alison Gray from the Dogs Trust came in to collect the 2nd round of collections made for Sugar Hill’s chosen charity. Naughty Nellie came in to say thanks with volunteer Harry too. Once again, the staff from Dogs Trust were overwhelmed by the children’s generosity.
