I would like to take the opportunity to place on record my thanks on behalf of the residents of the West Estate to Cllr Arun Chandran, Secretary of the Great Aycliffe Residents Association, who right from the outset, stood up and was counted for residents.
Fighting tirelessly against Livin and its preferred (or only) option 3.
Arun Chandran was always convinced we could win, as was Cllr. Ken Robson and Syd Howarth of GARA who ran a superb and successful campaign, also getting the Town Council onside.
Well done to all concerned.
So shines a good deed in a weary world.
