Students have once again created some wonderful designs as part of Greenfield’s annual Christmas Card competition. The young people showed their creative skills as they used different media to add their own distinctive style to each festive image.
The results were amazing with many cards also depicting the caring and inspiring ethos at Greenfield Community College. It was a very difficult job for the judges but eventually a winner was chosen and Year 9 student Lauren Hartley claimed the top spot. The design has now been printed by professionals and sent to hundreds of people across the Newton Aycliffe and Shildon area. Lauren has also been presented with a gift voucher and her own framed copy to keep which will hopefully inspire her future designs.
Well done to all who entered the competition, the standard was very high and we look forward to seeing what the students can achieve next year!
