New Student Ambassadors have been appointed at Woodham Academy. This year saw a record number of applications and the quality of the field was extremely high. Each student was asked to write a letter of application for the post citing what qualities and experience they had which made them a good candidate. Pam Hall, Director of Student Support, explained that the written applications had been fantastic and really highlighted the quality of leadership and kindness that existed with the students in the school.
She said ‘In reading the applications I felt a real sense of pride in the type of student that we have at Woodham. They are very talented young people who are caring, responsible and a real credit to the school and their parents.’ Those selected were each given a tie which distinguishes them as Student Ambassadors. Their duties will include representing Woodham when they are both hosting events at school as well as at outside events and supporting younger students within the school.
