Oliver Dobson, pictured with his parents, was awarded a certificate for 100% attendance over his five years at Woodham Academy at an awards ceremony at the Sports Direct Arena in Newcastle.
After a tour of Newcastle United’s ground, Oliver received his certificate from Karen Wright, of Metro Radio and Councillor Linda Marshall. Throughout his time at Woodham, Oliver was a model student, setting himself the highest standards in terms of behaviour and achievement.
It is no surprise that Oliver achieved outstanding GCSE results with 13 passes at grades A or A*. He is now studying A Levels at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College in Darlington.
Headteacher, Christine Forsyth, said, “There is a proven link between attendance and achievement. Oliver achieved perfection in both”.
