Moves with new name into former Heron’s Store
Chris and Diane Young, proprietors of “Stevens” the Town Centre Newsagents, are pleased to announce the opening of their new shop on Friday 13th December, in the old Heron’s unit, along with the new Post Office.
The New Shop will be called ‘YOUNGS NEWSAGENTS,’ and will continue to offer Newspapers and Magazines, Home Deliveries, Confectionery, Sweets, Crisps, Soft Drinks and Tobacco Products.
Youngs Newsagents will also offer a variety of new services and products, greeting cards, stationery, Costa Coffee, hot and cold sandwiches as well as some limited Post Ofice services outside normal Post Office hours.
“The former post office staff will transfer to the new post office and there will be a few extra jobs as part of this expansion” said Chris.
Newton News are pleased to announce that the new Young’s shop, acting as our agents, will take in Newton News classified advertisements and any letters to the editor.
The proprietors, Chris & Diane, and their staff, look forward to welcoming customers old and new to their new shop. Opening Times 6:15am till 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and 6:30am till 12:00 Noon Sunday. Post Office Counter Opening Times 8:30am till 5:30 Monday to Saturday.
Could Post Office customers please note the old Post Office will close on Thursday 12th re-opening at 1:00pm on Friday 13th in the New Shop ‘YOUNGS NEWSAGENTS.’
