Come and join us for a STEM-fastic day out with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths on  Friday 3rd July, 10am till 2pm at the Oak Leaf Sports Complex
Aycliffe Youth Council, Great Aycliffe Town Council and a range of organisations have been working hard to inspire YOU by science!
TV’s Braniac, John Kilcoyne, will be giving a live science show.  There will be a range of hands on activities for you to enjoy as well as ‘what next’ information and professionals on hand to answer your questions.
Test your skill and co-ordination with VEX robots; underwater ROVs and disarm the exploding device. There will be a range of electronic gadgets to test your speed and agility.
If you enjoy a challenge there will be opportunities to build a balloon powered Locomotion No.1 and help build a suspension bridge and much, much more. Come along and see for yourself that science is amazing.
Please remember – there is very limited parking on site so the organisers would request that you make alternative transport arrangements to attend the event.
