St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School brought the community together for a successful fun fair on Friday 5th July. The event was very well attended by the local community, including families who do not attend St. Joseph’s, making it a true celebration of community spirit.
The summer fair featured a wide range of activities that delighted all ages. Children had the opportunity to handle a variety of unique animals including snakes, stick insects, a gecko and a bearded dragon. Other highlights included a lively disco, nerf gun wars, fabulous face painting, aerial hoop, an inflatable slide and a bouncy castle. A standout activity was ‘splat the teacher’ which was particularly enjoyed by the children. The local community praised the event, with many people commenting on how enjoyable it was and commending the school for their hard work in organising such a fantastic fair.
Mrs Kirsty Evans, Headteacher of St. Joseph’s, expressed her delight at the turnout and the positive feedback from the community. She said, “We are thrilled with the support from the local community; it’s been wonderful to see families come together and enjoy the day. We look forward to hosting more events in the future that bring everyone together.”
