Sunshine, laughter and sausage rolls, a recipe to celebrate a royal wedding.
St. Joseph’s Primary School did their own take on the Royal Wedding with the children arranging a spectacular wedding ceremony.
On the lead up to the Royal Wedding, the children in early years enjoyed a role play corner set up to hold weddings. The children aged two to five role played and dressed up as the bride, the groom, a priest, bridesmaids, a best man and the wedding guests. It gave our children a unique insight into a wedding atmosphere and they put on a fantastic performance.
The whole school then had a Wedding Banquet outside provided by the school in the beautiful sunshine and made their own flags for bunting creating a wonderful setting to celebrate the royal event.
