On 20th April local residents group ACORN will be holding their first celebration party to honour England’s patron saint and possibly the greatest writer ever known.
A light hearted event aimed at having a little fun with a pie and pea supper supplied by Walkers Butchers followed by a disco themed on England’s best, featuring Mick Taylor.
Also a picture recognition quiz based on famous English people, Children’s games, face painting and balloons from Harry Potty.
“All the world’s a stage” Fancy dress is optional but our chairman seems to be the correct shape for Winston Churchill.
The game’s afoot: Follow your spirit, and upon this charge Cry ‘God for Harry, England, and Saint George!’
