The annual Family Spooktacular at ROF59 will take place on Friday 1st November from 5.00pm to 9.00pm, and is heading to be another sold out night of scares, music and Halloween fun.
All children attending will receive a goody treat bag and colouring pencils, courtesy of Shake ‘n’ Cake – as well as a session on the trampolines and entertainment from resident DJ, Nathan, who will also be giving away various prizes for best fancy dress costumes. A fully stocked bar and refreshments will be available by ROF59.
With the actors in place, the highlight of the event is the established scare walk with a special addition this year of the ‘Zombie Room’.
Numerous animatronics are used which, at times, you will not be able to differentiate between them and the actors – which will cause many visitors to be unnerved, especially if one of them follows you!
‘Zombie Lunch’ is a new addition for 2024, which is a room set aside, taken over and designed by the Performing Arts students from Bishop Auckland College. Dare you enter the Zombie room and encounter a group of zombies eating lunch?
Some comments from last years event include: “The best scare walk I have ever experienced”; “Chainsaw guy scared the pants off me”; “This has to be one of the best Halloween events I have attended”; “It was definitely scarier than Scream Factory.”
Tickets for this annual scarefest are priced at £15 for under 16’s and £10 for ages 16 and over, available at www.ayclifferadio.co.uk/tickets – Please note that under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult – See advert on page two for more details.
