Sponsors are needed for an annual awards scheme which recognises outstanding environmental work in County Durham.
The County Durham Environment Partnership is hoping to hear from companies and organisations which would be interested in sponsoring this year’s awards, which will open for entries in June.
The County Durham Environment Awards have taken place every year over the last 27 years and during that time more than 890 projects involving thousands of people have received awards or commendations.
To keep running costs to a minimum organisers are inviting companies to support the scheme via one of three sponsorship packages.
There are a range of benefits available to sponsors, depending on how much they wish to contribute, ranging from sponsoring an award category and participating in judging to having a company name on awards literature and VIP attendance at the annual winners’ ceremony.
Details of the packages are available at www.countydurhampartnership.co.uk/envawards
