Great Aycliffe Indoor Bowls Club has received further sponsorship from local firm Gordon Fletcher & Sons Independent Funeral Directors of Cobblers Hall, Village Centre, to boost their Project Fund.
Colin Fletcher is seen presenting the cheque following the recent Fletcher Tournament Competition held at Oak Leaf Complex. Also pictured is Michael Spencer, and receiving the cheque is John Palmer, who is a founder member of GAIBC in 1978, is still an active member, and the Club Treasurer for 35 years.
Michael Spencer stated. “It’s with the support of Peter and Colin over the past years that the Club has been able to replace the honours boards and support the ongoing project of a new master scoreboard.”
