The Arriva Teen Card is a must for all young people living in the North East. It allows reduced travel on most of our services in these areas at off-peak times and during most non schooldays. Any young person up to the age of 18 can get a Teen Card. You can use your Teen Card up to the 31st August after your 18th Birthday. We now have one Teen Card valid for services across the North East within our service area.
You can travel on all Arriva services starting/finishing in the North East area (including services X26 and X27), except for 93/X93 and route X24 to the Metrocentre, Gateshead.
Use your Teen Card after 6pm on Monday to Friday, at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. You will also be able to use your card after 9am during most school holidays.
Teen Card holders are only charged at half the adult fare up to a maximum of £1. So, no matter where you’re going or how far it will only be a maximum of  £1! There are no return tickets available with your Teen Card.
Complete the Application Form enclosing two up to date identical passport size (approx 40mm x 30mm) photographs of yourself and proof of your date of birth. This will normally be a photocopy of your birth certificate.
Send these together with a £5 cheque or postal order payable to Arriva North East and a stamped addressed envelope to:

Your Arriva Teen Card will then be posted to you and should land on your doorstep within a few days.
