Businesses across South Durham came together on Friday 30th Nov 2012 at Spennymoor Town Hall to celebrate and promote the importance of wealth creation in these difficult economic times.  South Durham Business Network and Engineering & Manufacturing Forum brought together its members to recognise excellence through a range of awards.  Pamela Petty – Managing Director of Ebac based in Newton Aycliffe won the prestigious award of Outstanding Contribution to South Durham for their innovation and ambassadorial role in promoting the importance of Engineering, Manufacturing and export as a key UK strength.  Ebac continue to defy global trends and are now planning to design, engineer and manufacture washing machines once again in County Durham.  Well done to Pamela and her team at Ebac.
