Fun with “Little Acorns” Group
Why not come along to both of the events arranged by Little Acorn’s? Little Acorn’s is an exciting new subsidiary of the main residents association and holds monthly meetings, half an hour before the main meeting of the group.
Two events are the first to be arranged by the children and young adults that form the group, supported by the main Association.
Our Easter Monday Fun-day will be held in the Town Park (by Tesco) from 2pm until 4pm on Monday 1st of April 2013 with fun and games for the whole family. Everyone is welcome but under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult and this event is free. There will be games such as egg and spoon races, tug of war, and all sorts of EGGcellent fun including three legged races and an Easter Egg Hunt.
On Tuesday 2nd of April, the group have arranged a Petting Zoo in Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre from 11 am till 2pm. There will be a selection of different animals and advisors will be on hand to inform how to care for these creatures. Again under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Bring along an Easter picture for our drawing competition to be judged on the day.
