HC-One, the Kind Care Company, is offering photography students a unique opportunity to enhance their portfolios with an exciting photography project.
The UK’s largest care home provider is looking for local photography students who would like to gain some hands-on experience within the health and social care sector.
The project will involve visiting Defoe Court Care Home in Newton Aycliffe, where participants will stage rooms and take photographs of the care home, both internally and externally.
COVID-19 precautions will be in place throughout the project, including wearing PPE and a rigorous testing system upon entry into our care home.
Participants would require access to camera equipment and the ability to send the finished images to HC-One. Photo editing software would be beneficial but not essential and no previous experience is required, but a keen interest in photography would be desirable.
Sarah Todd, Home Manager, commented: “This is a wonderful opportunity for local budding photographers to hone their skills and gain experience in a health and social care environment.”
