Just a quick note to let you, the local children, their parents and carers know I am going to try something new. After an amazing Summer Term working in many local schools offering singing ‘Sing with Shanaya’ after school clubs, judging school talent shows, and being involved in school graduations and celebration assemblies. I have decided to run a 2 day ‘Sing with Shanaya Summer School’ here in Newton Aycliffe at St Clare’s Church. My summer school will be on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th August from 9.30am till 2.50pm. Suitable for 5-13 year olds, all that is required is enthusiasm, a packed lunch and a bottle of water.
All of the staff have child care qualifications, DBS, First Aid and safeguarding. The children will have the chance to have fun, make friends and learn new skills, through vocal coaching, singing and performing.
On the Tuesday afternoon the children will perform a short show, showcasing what they have learnt. The design your own T-shirt competition will be judged and a raffle will be held (all monies to St Teresa’s Hospice).

On receipt of a completed enrolment form and payment we will send you your confirmation details and number. The cost is £40 for 2 days, with a reduced rate for more than one child.
I am so excited to be able to offer this opportunity to local children. I hope local children will be inspired to join me to have some fun, in a safe and friendly learning environment, where each individual has the opportunity to feel valued, respected, grow in confidence and experience new things.
