Thanks to everyone who provided a shoe box for children – We aimed for 260 and surprise, surprise, many more were received – in fact sufficient for two outlets.
It has been an amazing few weeks. At first 260 boxes seemed an impossible number to aim for but through the energy, enthusiasm and kindness of so many people we made it. Delivery was interesting but successfully accomplished, quietly and without any fuss with gifts delivered to lots of unknown children by so many people who expect nothing in return – the TRUE Spirit of Christmas.
For those of you who passed my Facebook page and my original email onto your relations and friends please do so again as there were so many people knocking on our door who we do not know. It is important they receive the thanks and appreciation that they deserve.
