ShildonLive is this Saturday, 23rd July

‘From the Jam’ will be headlining, Bruce Foxton last graced our town at the Civic Hall 10 years ago, in 2012, and this year, Shildon’s finest, ‘Citizen Kane’ are reforming.
“One last time for Johnny”
On 8th July 2018, Citizen Kane lost a member of our very special family, John McGough. Over several years we travelled the UK and Europe supporting the likes of Jools Holland, Jack Bruce and Rory Gallagher, and spent 1000’s of hours together in vans, hotels and venues. The band have teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support and Barclays Bank to raise funds for this important cause this year, (thank you to Quinn’s Retreat for their understanding this year).
The band have kindly donated their fee to Macmillan and, additionally, £1 from EVERY TICKET sold this year will also be donated. This will then be price matched by Barclays Bank.
One thing is certain, Johnny would have wanted everyone to have a fantastic time, so let’s do this and also raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support . . . What a day we have in store.
Tickets available on the door.
