Dear Sir,
What a success, exceeding all my expectations . . . a full house, not a seat to be had! Standing room only!
Despite emotions running high, after my Aunty Sue, so beautiful, leaving our world on Sunday 24th March, we had five days before the gig to ensure we would celebrate the life a wonderful lady and support such deserving causes.
The charities to benefit from the event are Bright Red, St Teresa’s Hospice and within our local community, Junction7.
All three charities are vital to families, their children, welfare, and extended needs of unique individuals.
I wish to thank my Mum, although broken-hearted, worked her socks off. An enormous thank you to family, friends and local people, for your time, kindness and consideration.
We celebrated my Uncles 60th birthday – congratulations Ian; and my Grandparents Sheila and John’s, 61st Wedding Anniversary.
It was great to hear: “Cracking Night”, Nev Jones; “Excellent fund raising ideas”, Jane at Junction7; “What a voice”, Sophie (Cancer Care Nurse from Liverpool); “Exceptional, Inspirational”, Lisa from Bright Red; “Just Amazing”, Susan Davies; “So Proud of You”, Amy Wennington (cousin); “You did so very very well, love you”, Grandad; “Will you please sing at my wedding?”, Abbie.
Yes, I am available for weddings, parties, proms, christenings and funerals alike . . . People often ask me what I am up to presently, well, I am working at FVP studios in London on my new single, as well as working in Newton Aycliffe local school offering vocal coaching and singing at after school clubs, it’s amazing to be given these opportunities by headteachers, to work with such enthusiastic children in their schools.
Music and singing can bring such happiness, it is so therapeutic and it brings me such joy to be involved in delivering such sessions.
I also give vocal coaching and singing lessons privately from home, should anyone be interested, please contact Belinda Atkinson-Jones (Mum), who manages my affairs in the north east 07771 814412
Many thanks, Shanaya
