Family history sessions are taking place at Durham County Record Office.
Why not book a half hour session of one to one advice with a trained archivist who can help sort out problems encountered in family research.
Each session costs £10 and must be booked in advance.
Two days of sessions are being held on Friday, 12 April and Friday, 26 April.
Dawn Layland, archivist with Durham County Council, Said: “These sessions can help you get one to one support with your family tree.
“It could be that you have hit a ‘brick wall’ or it could be that you want to know more particular sorts of record, such as workhouse or school records. Either way, the sessions offer the chance to get your research back on track.”
