On Sunday December 8th we will be holding a very special Service at St. Clare’s Church in the town centre at 4-00pm.
We would like to invite anyone who has lost a loved one either recently or in years gone by, to come along on this day and light a candle in memory of them. The Advent Christmas tree will be lit, and you can also if you wish write a message on a card to hang on this tree, where it will stay throughout the Christmas period.
The Service is quite informal with carols a reading and prayers, during the Service there will be  a time of reflective silence when your loved ones names are read out .
After the Service you are invited to stay for light refreshments in the church hall where there will be members of our pastoral team for you to talk to if you wish to do so.
Our remembrance chapel will be open and you can view the memorial book with the choice to place your loved one’s name in. On their anniversary you can come along and sit in the chapel where the memorial book will be open for you.
