I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected as the Green Party candidate for the Sedgefield constituency.
I have lived and worked in Darlington all of my adult life with my husband and 4 children who were all raised in Newton Aycliffe and attend local schools.
Having been on my village hall (Brafferton) committee for 6 years, and a founder of the campaigns 999 Call for the NHS and 999 Call for Education, I am an active member of the community and have campaigned on many issues in
the area.
In 2015, I stood as a Green candidate in the Darlington local elections for the Heighington and Coniscliffe ward.
The 3 main points on which I will base my campaign are the NHS, Education and Housing. All of these issues directly affect many constituents in Sedgefield and it’s time for people to understand that there is more choice than the 2 main parties.
