Sedgefield Racecourse will be hosting its’ annual Betfred Hurdle Series Final Raceday on Wednesday 29 March.

The day will get started at 12.10pm with the first race at 2.10pm and will feature the Betfred Hurdle Final race at 3.40pm. Over 30 UK Trainers have qualified so far and amongst these are Sedgefield’s leading trainers Brian Ellison and Sue Smith; local Trainers Chris Grant, and Micky Hammond; Yorkshires top trainer Tim Easterby; 2008 Grand National winning Trainer David Pipe, and some of Sedgefield’s loyal Trainers, Donald McCain, Kenneth Slack and Malcolm Jefferson.

The Raceday will also see 11 year old James Clarkson walking the course at 5pm raising funds for the Injured Jockeys Fund. James has set himself the challenge of walking all 34 English National Hunt racecourses in five days to raise money for the charity.
