Newton Aycliffe Scout supporters invite you to enjoy the coming entertainment at the Scout Centre.
On Saturday 27th October ‘Crazy Howie’ will be playing music for you all to sing along to, from 7pm in the bar. We have a new selection of draught beers for you to try, Coors Light, Worthingtons and Camerons Black Fruit Cider, these will all be available as well as our regular beers John Smiths Smooth and Carling Lager and from 7pm till 9pm they will be on sale at £2.50 per pint, there is no cover charge, so come and enjoy yourselves.
On 3rd November we welcome Phil, Paul and Guest DJ’S back for the very popular ‘Back to the 80’s Disco’. This is a family event with a £3 admission charge for adults and £1.50 for children, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Phil and his friends will be playing music from the 80’s with a sprinkling of 70’s, Motown and 90’s thrown in.
Once again we will be selling our draught beers at £2.50 a pint between 7pm and 9pm. The Disco starts at 7pm and you can dance the night away until 12.00.
All of the events are in order to raise the necessary funds to run and maintain the centre which is used five nights a week by the young people of Newton Aycliffe. Without this facility the cost of hiring halls could make the groups unviable and inaccessible to many young people. So please support us and come along.
Our social club is open every week on Friday evening from 7.00pm, Saturday from 12.30pm and Sunday from 12.00pm. We are also open on a Monday when the darts and domino team are playing at home. New members are always welcome.
