School’s out for summer, not quite, at Woodham Academy!
Geography students trans-ferring from Year 10 to Year 11 have been encouraged by their teachers to return to Saltburn to collect additional data for their controlled assessment.
To get top marks students have to plan and carry out at least one method of data collection. If the summer heat wave continues it is a task many will find easy to do! Students have been encouraged to promote sustainability by using the train to get there.
So keen is one student, Imogen French, that she has already returned to the resort and come back to the Academy armed with data to use. Mrs Barker, HOD of Geography, hopes that many more geographers will follow Imogen’s lead and head to Saltburn for sun, surf, sand, and academic success!
