Students from a school in Hurworth have added to the festive feeling at a new homes development in the village.
A group of young people from Hurworth House School came carol singing at Bellway’s Hurworth Gardens development, off Roundhill Road, on Thursday, December 5.
Local people, parents and members of staff were invited to join in with the festive fun, as the group performed their favourite classic Christmas carols.
Assistant Head Teacher of Hurworth House School, Gary Robinson, said: “We continue to enjoy our working relationship with Bellway Homes.
“Our young people enjoyed the opportunity to sing to an audience and I hope they have provided members of the community with festive joy.”
Sales Manager for Bellway Durham, Darren Pelusi, said: “It was lovely to see the children in such high spirits singing their favourite Christmas songs, and they gave the development a fantastic Christmas feeling.
“We’d like to thank the students and staff who spent their afternoon bringing lots of joy to the residents of Hurworth Gardens – their performance was wonderful!”
