The whole of Sugar Hill primary school came together in an assembly recently to say farewell to Mrs Lyn Swift, who is retiring from her post of Chair of Governors for the school. Lyn has been a Governor at Sugar Hill for 19 years and has been a great friend to all staff and children over that time. She has given so much of her own time selflessly and willingly, and everyone at Sugar Hill wanted Lyn to have the send-off that her great service deserved.
Every year group in the school made or performed their own special tribute for Lyn, including songs and poems performed with enthusiasm during the assembly. All the children worked very hard and enjoyed giving their performances, and a lovely afternoon was had by all. Everyone at Sugar Hill wants to thank Lyn for everything she has done over the years and to wish her a long and happy retirement.
