Aycliffe Day Nursery is a pack-away facility located in the Agnew Community Centre, Morrison Close. They now offer a pick up and drop off service to your home for the morning pre-school sessions and if there is enough demand will extend it to afternoon sessions. If there is enough demand they are also looking to open on a Saturday to offer childcare for those parents and carers who have to work on a weekend or for those parents who would like to do their shopping stress free.
The nursery can offer free 15 hours funded childcare for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds. For those who are required to pay for their childcare, fees are very reasonable.
They work on a £3 per hour rate, Pre-school 9.15am-12.15pm or 1pm-4pm £8.50 (from birth to 5yrs).
Half day 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm £15.00. £1.50 lunch or your child can bring a packed lunch at no extra charge. Full day 8am-6pm: £30.00.
Holiday Club for school holiday dates for over 5yrs, 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm £9.00 or full day £18.00.
Before and after school service is charged by the hour at a rate of £3 per hour. They accept various childcare vouchers, or you may be entitled to help with childcare costs depending on household income – please ask for details.
For those working a variety of shift patterns, drop and shop sessions may be available subject to spaces being available.
