Following his tour of Great Aycliffe on Christmas Eve, Santa would like to say (on behalf of Great Aycliffe Town Council) a huge thank you to all his volunteer helpers for their time and support; to Newton Press for publishing his routes; to Aycliffe Fabrications and Ferryhill Town Council for the use of their ‘Santa Sleighs’; to all those who came out to greet him despite the weather, and for the cash donations which raised £115.00 for the Mayor’s Charities.
