Following his tour of Great Aycliffe on Christmas Eve, SANTA would like to say (on behalf of Great Aycliffe Town Council) a huge thank you to all his volunteer helpers for their time and support; to Newton News and Aycliffe Today for publishing his routes; the works section for preparing his sleighs, to Northern Power Clean, Beaumont Landscape, Shildon Town Council, J. & C. Coaches, Sabre Rail, Aycliffe Fabrications and Pinkney Builders for the use of their ‘Santa Sleighs’; to all those who came out to greet him, and for the cash donations which raised £199.40 for the Mayors Charities.
