Unlike Party members, being an Independent candidate means I am free to focus upon the issues that matter.
I am a 40 year old mother of three children and I work as a volunteer Kitchen Manager and Cook at The Cubby. I hold a Health & Safety Certificate and believe I have the confidence and ability to make important decisions representing my ward and town.
I have lived in Newton Aycliffe West Ward for four years. I wish to represent you all on the Town and County Council as I am a very approachable person and able and willing to be there for the people and families of West Ward and resolve their day to day issues.
I am not afraid to voice my opinions and promise to attend all Council and PACT meetings working hard for the community.
I am standing with a first class ex Borough Councillor, Lileen Cuthbertson, who does a tremendous amount of work for charity and the disabled.
