The coming season will see the start of a new era with Stewart Donald and his financial backers having bought the club, and appointed a young manager, Jack Ross, to bring the club back. Jack has a reputation for a brand of exciting, attacking football, which will put a smile back on the supporters faces.
The Newton Aycliffe branch of the Sunderland Supporters Association continue to provide safe, comfortable and competitively priced travel to all of Sunderland’s home matches, and many away games. With nearly 25 years experience in providing for all the needs of the fans in the town and have contacts with the club to receive advance information and invitations to exclusive events.
On Thursday 7th June, we will be holding our annual informal meeting to take membership applications and subscriptions for our 25th Season.
The meeting takes place at the Phoenix Club (Legion) on Greenwell Road, Newton Aycliffe at 8.00pm. Annual membership costs £5.00, if bought on or before the 5th July whereupon it reverts to £6. Members travel cost to home games are discounted by £2.00 from the standard price, so after three trips, you’re membership fee has paid for itself.
