Aycliffe runners headed to Exhibition Park in Newcastle on Sunday 13th November for the annual Heaton Harriers Memorial 10k. There was a minute’s Remembrance Day Silence on the start line as nearly 600 runners stood in tribute before they were on their way to cover two laps of Newcastle Town Moor.
Conditions were very windy and bitterly cold. First to finish the course for Aycliffe Running Club was Trish Kay in 50:03 and 2nd F55, next Lindsey Brown in PB of 57:18 followed by Susan Clark 1:01:56 and Eve Doe in PB of 1:07:16.
