On Sunday 17th November Aycliffe Running Club joined thousands for the annual Leeds Abbey Dash 10K. The race from Leeds City Centre to Kirkstall Abbey and back is traditionally known as a fast and flat course, however, there were a number of small inclines including a section towards the end. Weather conditions were perfect for running and approximately 9500 competitors crossed the finish line at the Headrow.
There were some great times recorded by the Aycliffe runners including a number of personal bests.
