Cecily’s and John Abraham are celebrating their Ruby Wedding Anniversary this year, they first met in Scarborough in July 1974 and were married two years later in July 1976. They were married at St. Mary’s Church with the reception held at the Southerne Club.
They enjoyed their honeymoon in Cromarty a small village in Scotland and after living in Scotland for a year moved to Newton Aycliffe where they have lived since. Cecily has worked as a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Primary School for 25 years and John has recently retired from Ineos after 35 years.
“They are the greatest parents we could ask for, and we congratulate them on their anniversary and wish them many more years of happiness.” said Graham, Alex, Matt and family.
