Last week Rotary President Jon Bean presented a cheque for £750 for the Play Café project in Newton Aycliffe. The Play Café is helping address the difficulties families experience during the long school summer holiday, when there are no Breakfast Clubs or school lunches.
The pop up cafes will be held weekly in local venues, offering the families a meal, time to play and some groceries. All family members will benefit. Thank you, for this generous contribution from the Rotary Club.
