Newton Aycliffe Rotary Club honoured the young golfers of Woodham Golf Club on 3rd December by presenting the Junior player of the year, James King (centre) and older player of the year, Harry Lawson (left), with the Richard Gent Memorial Trophies at the golf club’s presentation evening.
The trophies are donated by the Rotary Club in memory of the late Rotarian Richard Gent, his widow – Honorary Rotarian, Margaret, is pictured with Rotary Club President John Bean after making the presentations.
Also in the picture are Graeme Storm (leading golf professional in our area) and guest of honour for the evening and Chris Lawson (Junior Liason Officer at Woodham Golf Club).
