The town’s Rotary Club were in Barclays Bank and Boots on Saturday selling raffle tickets for the region-wide MRI Scanner Appeal for James Cook Hospital.
The life-saving equipment has to be replaced and upddated, but there is a £500,000 shortfall which Rotary Clubs are attempting to meet through various fundraising activities. If you wish to help in any way please contact the Rotary club through Newton News on 300212 or 320901 after hours.
