Rose Lodge enjoyed a fun packed “Olympic” themed week. They kicked off on Monday with the residents designing their own Olympic torch for the event. We then went on to compete in many sports with both residents and staff joining in.
One competitor, Ann Purvis, aged 87 years, was especially proud as her son Jim, who is an Olympian, joined us in our games.
Jim Purvis is a former British vault champion. (pictured with Mrs Purvis and his sister). The week came to a close with a medal ceremony for all our winners.
