Remembrance Day Parade Sunday 12th November 2023
For the Annual Remembrance Day Parade this year, the following roads will be closed for short periods when the parade marches to St. Clare’s Church and for the return route and Salute Past: Greenwell Road, Macmillan Road, Stephenson Way and St. Cuthbert’s Way.
The following car parks will be closed between approximately 6.00am and 12.30pm: Greenwell Road / Macmillan Road – opposite the Phoenix Club; Stephenson Way – outside the Leisure Centre; Bewick Crescent – opposite the surgery.
