The Northern Citrines Jazz Band, originally based in Shildon, is to reform and make a comeback based in Newton Aycliffe, as of October 2019. Days and times of practices to be confirmed; new members of all ages and abilities welcome to join with a small subscription cost of £3 per practice.
The band would like to say a big thanks to Honest John, for the grant they received from him, which has enabled the band to purchase three marching snare drums.
The group are also hosting a charity night on Friday 27th September at The Big Club, Newton Aycliffe, with the fabulous ultimate Shania Twain tribute act on the first half and Samantha Mac singing a medley of dance hits for the second set.
Tickets are priced at £5 each and are currently in the process of being made to be on sale at the Club very soon with more info to follow.
