Opportunity for Residents to Express their Opinions
The Town Council recently told you about the Neighbourhood Plan which is a very important document to help PLAN for things that are important to the residents and businesses of Great Aycliffe for its future development.
It will become a statutory planning document that will steer future development of our neighbourhood areas. It is only about planning, but an important factor to note is that it’s not about saying NO to development.
You are invited to a “Big Event” where Angela Corner the newly appointed Neighbourhood Plan Officer will talk to residents about the work going to be done to complete the Plan over the coming months. More importantly she will be asking you for your views on our future priorities.
The event will be held at Newton Aycliffe
Youth Centre
24th July – 5pm to 6pm.
You can drop in to look at some of the things to be done and give your views on priorities for the town.
If you have an issue with Transport, Employment, Environment, Housing, Retail or anything else, we urge you to come along and have your say and help us PLAN a better future for Great Aycliffe.
