Greenfield Arts are thrilled to welcome textile designer Maria Cooper. Maria is known for her joyful designs and has worked for H&M, Zandra Rhodes and Orla Kiely. Maria, who studied at the Royal College of Art, will be leading a workshop in Repeat Pattern Making, sharing her colourful design skills with our community.
In the session you will learn how repeat patterns can be used in your artwork, be it textile, wallpaper or other art forms; you can learn more about imagery and be inspired by nature to create unique artwork. Join Maria in a lovely environment and make your own designs to take away.
The session is suitable for all whether you are just starting out, honing your skills or simply curious! Repeat Pattern Making will be held on Thursday 20 April and will run from 13:30 – 16:30. The cost is just £25 and all materials will be provided, along with tea, coffee and biscuits.
The workshop forms part of a seasonal programme which includes dedicated arts workshops, free activities for young people, valuable projects and exhibitions.
